Alpha Lipoic - Use Lipoic Acid as Part of Your Diet to Help Maintain a Healthy Blood Sugar Level and Maintain Healthy Liver Function.* Alpha-lipoic acid contains a chiral center and consists of two entantiomers, the natural R- or D- entantiomer and the S- or L- entantiomer. Commercial preparations of alpha-lipoic acid consist of the racemic mixture, i.e. 50/50 mixture of the R- and E- entantiomers.

Cinnamon - Cinnamon Bark has been used traditionally as a culinary spice and to support proper digestion. It is known to possess a number of bioactive constituents that exhibit free radical neutralizing activity; other studies suggest that Cinnamon components may support balanced immune system and inflammatory responses. Additional clinical evidence also indicates that Cinnamon Bark supports healthy glucose metabolism and may help to maintain blood sugar levels already within the healthy range.*

Time Released Vitamin C - Only in recent years has Vitamin C in massive doses been recommended. Without the timed release provided, an optimum dosage every two hours is indicated, certainly an inconvenience, especially overnight. Below are listed some of the added benefits of regular Vitamin C ingestion. It is not surprising that it is one of today's most widely used vitamins.

  • Provides antioxidant protection*
  • Maintains white blood cell function*
  • Promotes healthy capillaries*
  • Helps maintain healthy teeth and gums*
  • Essential to collagen formation*
  • Prevents and treats scurvy*
  • Helps maintain the integrity of connective tissue, bones and teeth*
  • Blocks production of nitrosamines*
  • Helps heal wounds and broken bones*
  • Involved in the metabolism of phenylalanine and tyrosine*
  • Facilitates recovery from burns*
  • Protects folic acid reductase, which converts folic acid to folinic acid*
  • Increases iron absorption from intestines*
  • Contributes to hemoglobin and red blood cell production in bone marrow*

Q10 Ultra - Q10, also known as ubiquinone, promotes a healthy heart and quicker recovery after bypass surgery. It has also been shown to boost the immune system and is a naturally occurring anti-oxidant compound and is used for energy production within cells.*

Selenium - Selenium is a trace mineral that is essential to good health but required only in small amounts. Selenium is incorporated into proteins to make selenoproteins, which are important antioxidant enzymes. The antioxidant properties of selenoproteins help prevent cellular damage from free radicals. Free radicals are natural by-products of oxygen metabolism that may contribute to the development of chronic diseases. Other selenoproteins help regulate thyroid function and play a role in the immune system. Reference U.S. Government, Office of Dietary Supplements

Multivitamin Multimineral with Lutein & Lycopene - Multi vitamins are a good way to get the vitamins and minerals that may be missing in their diet.
